Happy St Patricks Day!

So we had a little pre-birthday dinner at my moms today and my funny sister Sadie got me dippin dots and cadbury eggs! (I will never ever be able to lose my baby weight!) Anyways for those of you who haven't seen my infamous "dippin dots" post you probablly don't think this is funny, but those of you that saw it know what the big joke is! Apparantly they have been around long enough that they are available to buy not only at big events but at walmart! I thought it was funny, so thanks Sadie for the gift and for coming up to my party! And thanks to mom and dad for getting it together! (we missed ya Kalli) she had to work.. But we had fun and the kids had fun. Well as another year has come and gone I look back at this past year and I have grown so much as a person and my life has totally done a 360! So many good things have happened to me, and I am truley grateful for my family, friends, and most of all my wonderful husband! I do have to say that I am truley starting to feel my age tho. A while ago Gracie had me practicing gymnastics with her and I thought (for some reason) that even tho I hadn't done any sort of dance or gymnastics in some time I would be perfectly capable of doing a cumersalt (sp) simple enough, right? Not even! If you haven't done one in a while try it! No dont! I was so very sore and it was no where near graceful! I hit so hard I thought I was going to fall through the floor! Gracie told me that I didn't land very good and I needed more practice..I will not practice I wouldn't even think of it! So as I am aproaching the big 30 (here in a few years) I am beginning to feel my age! I know it's not that old but I never thought it would get here so soon!

It's hard to forget birthdays that are no another special day. I loved the dippin'dot story. We are truly blondes even if our hair has faded. I have been trying to help Katelyn with cheer class, and I thought the same, easy right. I don't think we realize the muscles we used to have until we try to use them. I am still just as flexible, but getting my body to do what I want is another story. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Happy Birthday Becky.. Your dippin dots story rocks!!! I love the sumersalt story too.. Funny story, we had an exchange student from Japan and she wanted to see the girls do gymnastics, so they showed her.. Then Shaylee told her that I could do the splits.. I had showed the girls when they were learning them.. Well needless to say, I did do the splits at a FHE night with a bunch of friends.. no problem right.. Well the next morning I felt like I had did a crotch dip on the balance beam!! It HURT!!! Funny, Funny.. We are gettin old, but enjoy it!! I am 30 and it is killin me!!!
