My little guy..

So today Acen had his 6 month check up. He is doing really good! He weighs 16 lbs and he is 26 1/2 inches long. He's not as big as Gracie was at his age, and I know you really shouldn't compare, but maybe he'll be small like his dad and be a jockey (Shad hopes so)! Dr Loyd said he is doing really good though, he said we can try to take him off of his reflux med. and see how he does! (just because I refilled it yesterday) Also he said that his head looks good, for those that don't know his right side was a little flat, but he said it looks great and he won't have to wear a helmet! Yeah! It's so nice to hear all is well, and it makes you feel like even though you sometimes don't feel like you know what you are doing that maybe you are doing okay!! Gracie didn't want to come with us because she didn't want to see him get shots, but I think having her cousins here helped her decide! Although last time she was about in tears just watching. The doctor said that he has had other siblings actually attack him! Gracie cares so much for her brother! I love to watch them together, Acen loves her very much you can just see it in his eyes.
I just wanted to share a sad little story..Last night Gracie stayed with her cousins and Tasha said when they were getting ready for bed Gracie grabbed this little picture that Bev has out of Payden and she held it and said to Tasha "I just miss him, and I wish that he could just come out of this picture and be alive!" Tasha said it melted her heart! She is always telling me she wants to meet Payden and hug him and how sad she is that we are missing one of our family members, but I just tell her that one day we will see him again, and that he is watching over us so we need to be good and choose the right, she is so cute about it. I just have to wonder about why she thinks about it so much, and acts like she knows so much like she was here when it happened.. I wish I knew what went on up there before Gracie came here...There is just some sort of connection there, I know it sounds crazy, but I can just feel it!

Don't worry about the size different. Boys take longer to fully grow and they don't need all the fat where they don't have babies. Check to see if I sent an invite to your email, I should have, but who knows. I will double check. Just make a post like I did, with pictures and instructions. Katelyn biffed it on a scooter. She tried going down the stairs at my moms. kind of funny, but I really hope they don't scar.

I hate when shots make them so sick. Katelyn loves the picture of Gracie on the swing. She asked why she hasn't got to go out on hers. I guess I better let her now. HA HA HA

Becky he is so cute! Can you believe he is already six months old? Since you started blogging he has grown up so much. Gracie sounds very cute. You honestly do wonder what is going on up in Heaven don't you? I always think about Saturday's Warriors. That is one reason I am afraid of ever thinking I am done with kids. Have a great day!

The 6 month mark is SO much fun! So much changes during that time and the next 6 months.

Ceder was on reflux meds too. What is Acen on? Do you send it into the company and get a refund. Dr. Lloyd had Ced on Prilosec (sp?) and I know that the last few times I ordered it, I just sent my receipt and the box label in and they refunded my co pay.

Doesn't it make you wonder want your children really know? I always ask River how many more babies we should have, (like he should decide!) But I know that he really knows how many are waiting. Gracie got to spent some special time with Payden, and now he is watching over her and Acen. How lucky she is to have an angel looking out for her!! It's just so hard to be seperated for a time.
