Busy weekend!

We had somewhat of a busy weekend. Starting on Friday...I took Acen over to get his pictures done, I have been putting it off because he has a bit of a rash around his mouth, I got some cream from the doctor, but it only helps a little. He started getting it the last time he got his teeth, then it started to go away and then came back. I decided to just get them done since I had planned on doing a 6 month picture and he is now 7 months, I am behind. So the rash was not too bad so we went to get the pictures. We had a good time he did such a good job smiling, he was so happy! Gracie had told me she didn't want her pictures done so I didn't get her "picture" ready, then we got there and she wanted them (should have known) So the girl took a little snap shot of her too. We don't get the pictures back until the 28th so I will post them then. Sadie, Eric, and Laney came up for Taygen's play and since Gracie Acen and I had gone to see it on Thursday we didn't go to the Friday night one, and just met my family over at Kalli's for a little pizza party! We had fun, like always, and then Gracie was invited to sleep over at Kalli's, she was so excited! So we left her there and the next morning Sadie called (they stayed over at my mom's) and she said we are all meeting up for breakfast. So we went to breakfast, and my nice parents paid for us all, Thanks again mom and dad! Then we met them at Shad's parents so Laney could see the new twin colts, and all the other animals. She loved it and was so excited when Shad took her to pet the colt. Then we got all the horses ready and loaded up the horse trailer and headed to Lewiston to gate a few horses, so they have some idea as to what is going to happen here in a few weeks! I took the kids over to the playground while they worked the horses, and I was so mad I had forgot my camera because I put Acen in the little baby swing and he just loved it! He would squeal so loud, he could see his shadow and he would laugh at it, like it was another person or something, every once and a while a little breeze would pick up and it would take his breath away, I guess he needs to figure out how to breath with the wind! Me being the not so great mother this day forgot to put sunscreen on them so Gracie got little pink cheecks, luckily I had Acen's "racin" hat so he was okay, but it wasn't too bad now her face is just a little tan, and I have raccoon eyes from my sunglasses! Gracie had rode over with her grandpa, and when we got back she didn't want to come home with us, so she stayed there to help grandma and grandpa groom the horses. I can't believe she would rather stay there and work then come home with us!!:) So Shad and I hurried home so he could get ready to go to the Jazz game. His boss gave a few of them tickets in a suite. I was a little mad I didn't get to go, but it was for employee's only, so he had a guys night out, I guess it was good, he doesn' t do that too much, so I was glad he went and had fun. Finally about 10:00 Gracie came home! She watched some of the game and a movie with grandma. I was so lost without her, because Acen fell asleep kinda early, so I was pretty bord.. She had fun though like always, she loves to be with them. So anyways we were a little busy this weekend, but we had fun!
