Twins!!!

We got another exciting phone call this morning from grandma Bev! Silk had twins!! We have been waiting for a week or so thinking she would have them, we knew she was getting close and finally this morning she did. We had no idea she was having twins, so we were extra excited!! It's very uncommon for horses to have twins and even more uncommon for both to survive and the mother, so we fell very lucky! Not sure if they'll be nice big race horses yet, but we'll see! Gracie was so excited and we were getting ready for our busy day that started at the dentist, so I told her if she would hurry and get dressed then we would have time to stop by and see them! I wish she was that fast every morning to get ready! So we stopped by and visited them, we didn't get in the corral with them because she kept pinning her ears back and plus she was having a hard time passing the placenta, so we didn't want to cause any more stress on her.. The colts came up to us and let out little whinnies, Gracie loved it!
