Gracie has officially graduated from preschool! We got her a little gift for graduation. She got her ears peirced last December, so we got her some "fancy" earrings (which we forgot to put in for her graduation..) and some cute little shoes. She thought she was pretty cool!!
As part of her "last day of school" they had a water party. So she got to wear her swim suit to school, again so excited! It reminded me of how exciting it was on the last day of school...oh so long ago!
So after school, and her dance practice, we went and got our subways for the graduation picnic. (another one of those busy days with one thing right after another) It was so fun to listen to all the cute little songs she had learned this past year. She looked so big up there singing!
She had told me earlier in the day that she was nervous for graduation. I asked her why and she told me in her little nervous voice that she had to shake Mrs. Jamie's husbands hand. I was a little confused as to what she was talking about, but then I figured it out when he was handing out these cute little books that Jamie had put together. They had some pictures of her and her classmates, some things she told Jamie that she liked about school, and what she wanted to be when she grew up. Her husband read the part about what they want to be when they grow up out loud. I was a little nervous as to what this would be, it changes everyday, but she said she wants to be a horse rider. Oh, I have no idea why she has no shoe's on, she just hates them!! I know this is gross, but do you interrupt the whole program to yell at her to put them on or like Shad says...Just let her be a kid! We love you Gracie Jo and we know you will do well in life! Keep up the good work!
