9 months!

Today Acen had his 9 month check-up! Man how time flies! He didn't' need any immunizations, but he did have to get his flu shot booster so he will be ready for winter. He had to get it in his arm, which i have never had to have my kids get shots in their arm only the leg, so it was kinda sad!! He did pretty good tho. Dr. Lloyd said he is doing terrific! When he was checking him out he was having a hard time holding him down, he asked how I hold him down for diaper changes, which by the way are getting very hard! I told him Gracie has to help me! He said he is very strong, and that he will be a handful when he starts walking because he will probably run run run!..I can't wait.... He weighed 17lbs 12 oz (10%) which he said it is normal for their weight to taper off once they get more mobile, and since he is very mobile, I totally understand. He is crawling almost at a run, pulling up to everything and getting into everything, walking along the furniture, and at times he stands alone or barley holding on with one hand. His height is 28 1/2 inches which puts him at 61% and head circ. is 45.6 which is 58%... He is doing so good and learning new things daily. He is waving and makes a noise that sounds a lot like "Hi!" and he will wave bye bye and nite nite. When he is tired and wants to go to bed, or for a nap he will start waving, until I pull out the camera, and then he avoids me!! That is another thing he isn't as much of a camera ham as he used to be, I have to work pretty hard to get a smile or even for him to look at me! He likes to share his binki with us, he holds it to your mouth so you can pretend to suck! One day Gracie was crying for who knows what reason, and he went and got his binki and held it up to her, it got her to laugh tho! Gracie thinks this is so fun! He will hold his foot out for you to play "this little piggy" and he love loves "I'm gonna get you!" he will scream and crawl away as fast as he can to the nearest piece of furniture and pull up and try to get away.. He is so fun, and such a happy little guy, we love him so much, and we are so thankful he is healthy and accomplishing all these things.
