Another busy day!

Our busy day started when we headed over to get Gracie's cavity fixed and she was such a good girl! She had never had the gas before so I was a little nervous, but it was so cute because at one point she couldn't see me and she shouted (very loud) "MOM!" and I said "I am right here." she said in her sweetest little voice, "oh, well I just wanted to say I love you!" it melted my heart and I said "I love you too!"

Then we hurried to get her hair done by aunt Trisa for her dance pictures! We were a half hour late for the appointment (sorry Trisa) but she looked beautiful!

Then we headed to pictures and we were 15 min. late for that..but she did great and smiled so good! I will post the pics when I get them back. She was excited to show off her new clean teeth!

Then we headed to her soccer game! This is her and one of her best friends Katelyn, they aren't looking at the camera, but Katelyn is sitting on the ball and Gracie is sitting on her lap! I thought it was a cute pic!


So as you can see we had quite a busy day, and no, not everything went smoothly, but I guess for the most part it went okay. The dental appointment was good. We just had a small cavity on one of her back molars that needed to be filled, and while we were at it we had him fix her bottom two front teeth because they were not in the best shape. They were rotting, and have been for a while.. He has polished them up 3 or 4 times but he decided that since they never really held up that he would just cap them, and at no charge for that matter! I guess he felt bad that we had to get them fixed so many times! Nice guy! and it really made my day! She was so excited with the new ones she kept smiling, she would tell me that she will not miss her "ugly" little teeth! (she was a big bottle baby, and she loved her sippy WAY to much!) Then we had to go to Shopko and get tights for pictures, and they had one pair in her size and the color we needed! So I was thinking man this day is going too good! Then I noticed that they had a small hole....but nothing some clear nail polish couldn't fix!! (thanks mom!) And I really didn't have much choice since her pictures were at 4:00 and it was 2:40 as we were leaving the store, and we still had to make it home to get her costume and be to her hair app. by 3:00...umm yeah right! So we were a bit late for the hair app., (1/2 hr) but Trisa is a great hairstylist and even better under pressure I might add! (sorry if I was hovering over you Trisa Thanks again!) So we left the salon at 4:05 (pictures were at 4:00...) and we made it there by 4:15! ( Gracie told me were going to get arrested, but I wasn't going too much over the speed limit!) Hey, when it comes to your kids you do what it takes, right?! She got her pictures and I am sure they'll be adorable, since she was so excited to show off her new teeth! Then we went to my mom's work and changed into the soccer gear, and headed to the game! All in all it was a good day, and I have decided that things just aren't always going to go as planned and who cares! As long as we are all happy, all is good and the rest doesn't matter!!
