My sick little boy...

Okay so now I feel terrible for my post about Acen being a bear! I finally took him to the doctor today because he isn't eating hardly at all, and still not sleeping well, even tho I know he is so hungry and very tired! So I took him in today and just as I thought full blown double ear infection! And on top of that he had to get a flu shot, the dr. had to dig all the ear wax out of his ears to see if they were infected and his two top teeth are coming in! He was so good tho just a lot for one day, and Gracie was very mad at the doctor for making Acen cry. She kept saying "I think he has had enough of that, when he crys hard like that we help him to be happy!" She is so protective! Once the doctor got the earwax out of the way he said yep for sure ears are infected. He recommended a flu shot and showed me his gums on top and how swollen they are! I feel awful! I have been giving him motrin off and on for a week and teething tablets, but I really didn't think he had a ear infection, that is until this morning I knew something wasn't right! He has been so good the past couple of days that if he would have been eating normally I wouldn't have thought much of anything! Poor guy! Then after the doctor I rushed Garcie to school she was already 1/2 hour late because the office was behind because they had an emergency so I called to let her teacher know we would be late, and Gracie was so mad!She told me that if the doctor would have just left Acen alone she wouldn't be late! Finally we made it and she went to school, but she had a little surprise for me when I picked her up...She came out holding hands with a boy! And he walked her over to my car! Then she got in and she was smiling from ear to ear and said to me "mom guess what!" I said "what?" she said " I have a boyfriend! And we held hands for like 45 min., but we decided we aren't going to kiss or hug, just hold hands!" I told her that she shouldn't be having a boyfriend this young and she said that his face is so cute to her and his hair is so cute to her! Holy cow! I don't even want to know what she will be like a 16! I don't think she really understands what a boyfriend really is, but she was sure excited, and I was sure NOT excited, although it gave me a good laugh! Shad on the other hand didn't think it was so funny! Anyways just a funny "Gracie" story! I am glad to say she is doing much better this week at listening and she is back to my sweetheart! I don't know what the deal was but I am glad it's over! Now if we could just figure out this boyfriend thing.....
