So I know it hasn't been too long since my last post, but we have had a few things going on that I wanted to post about..
To start, Gracie had a field trip at the Hospital this
past week. She has been so excited and we had to mark off the calendar the past couple weeks so she could "countdown" and finally the BIG day arrived! It was a lot of fun, and really educational! They started off at the nursing home, where she was pretty much just interested in the fish aquarium. (go figure) Then we followed our pink lady tour guide to the Hospital where they went to the supply room, I was pushing Acen in the stroller so I had to lag behind a little and didn't really get to hear about it, but I am just guessing it's where they keep their supplies..Then to the ER desk where Gracie so proudly announced this is where her aunt Kalli works, then they got to go to the nursery where they saw a newborn baby! I was so amazed at how tiny they are, it made me realize how big Acen has really gotten! Then they showed them a hospital room and how the bed works. Then out to the life flight pad, then we went to the Lab and they told them that they can test your blood, urine, vomit, and poop for all sorts of fun things! (keep the lab in mind) Then to the gift shop, billing office, and then to the X ray, this is the scary part because they showed them an X ray of a child who swallowed a button, any bets on how many kids will swallow a button to get a picture like this one?! I can't believe Gracie hasn't done it yet! Then after the tour we went back over to the nursing home and they took the kids into a room that two ladies share, and just to see how excited these ladies were was so neat! Then the pink lady asked all the kids what their name is and what was their favorite part of the tour...Well while all the other kids were telling how they loved the baby, and the Xray, I asked Gracie what her favorite part was and...yep, she told me that the Lab was her favorite.. talking about all the cool things you can do with blood, poop, pee, and throw up!! (is she for real? I think she should have been a boy!) I told her to tell her 2nd favorite thing the gift shop! I had a good time and so did she!
Later on Shad took the kids for ice cream, and Gracie was so kind to share with her brother! He loved it! He would yell at her until she gave him more!
I love being able to take her to do fun things! I love having a little girl, even if she acts like a boy sometimes..well, most of the time! She is everything I ever hoped for in a daughter, I don't think I could handle a girly girl! She is a perfect balance for me! It seems like lately we have been so busy with just life that we needed a little fun outing! Thanks Sadie!!!

Gracie is such a character. I love that she thought the lab was cool. Funny!!! I love Build a Bear. it is such a great place.
Sounds like lots of fun! Going to Build-a-Bear is a good place to show us parents that we can't always be in control of our children and it lets them use their free agency, that can't pick anything wrong-but I am with you my kids never pick the one I want them to get! Maybe next time we should pick the one out that we want and tell them they shouldn't get it, I bet that would be the one they would end up getting!
I forgot to tell you awhile back that the cheap version of scensty is at Everthing you heart desires!
Gracie was so cute on Sunday. She made my day just by saying hi & flashing her cute smile to me on the way out!! We love having her in Primary. She's such a good little girl!!
Thanks for helping out by taking Katelyn in at the hospital. I am so loving Gracie's dog. I love girl's days and just being able to spend time one on one with my kids. The team is paying better attention, thanks!!! I am so glad you are willing to help me out!!!
