Yesterday Shad took Gracie fishing for a daddy daughter date. She had collected a few worms the day before and she was so excited to go! They left bright and early, when they got up there Shad called and said that her pole wasn't working well it was only casting about 4 feet and since they were on the banks it was getting caught into everything. Then when he went to cast out his pole snapped in half...So they loaded back up and headed to Malad to the fishing shop and he bought 2 new poles..what a great guy! Then they spent the day fishing, Shad caught one and Gracie caught two! Shad said when they put them in the cooler Graice said "dad, they are so beautiful...Well, sorry fish that was your last swim!" LOL! She is so funny! I am so glad I have such a great husband that loves to take my kids places and introduce them to the outdoors, and teach them about the respect they should have for the outdoors and its wildlife. He showed her how to gut the fish and we are planning on having them for dinner tonight. I think it will be neat for her to see how to cook them and enjoy eating them too.. That is so cool I love it when Trevor takes Harlie and so dose she it makes them fell so happy that they are the only one that get to go with day. Very cute pictures she is such a cute girl! Are you planing on going to our 10 year party?

I love that Shad likes to spend time with Gracie!!! I would probably be the one taking the kids fishing, Jason thinks it takes too long. We need to schedule a play day.
