Happy fathers day!

I want to start off by talking about my dad. I honestly don't think there is ANYTHING this man cannot do!! He is like superman and Bob Villa mixed together!! Not only that, but he is so caring and even tho we've had our ups and downs, mostly when I was a teenager..lets face it what father wouldn't have had disagreements with a daughter like me?... but no matter what he loved me unconditionally, and now that I am a parent I know he only wanted the best for me. He is a great dad and an even better grandpa...I love you dad!

This is a picture of Shad, his dad Tim, and Payden the day we buried him. Shad's dad is great, and he is so funny! I love him to death and he and Bev are so good to us!! He raised a good son and I am thankful for that! And Shad is such a good father, I knew he would be even before he got the chance..I remember the night we were up putting things together for Payden's funeral, and he stayed up half the night making one of his jockey whips small enough to fit in his casket. I remember so many things with him while I was pregnant with Payden and I couldn't wait for him to be a dad!! He was so excited the day we found out he was a boy! He seriously jumped out of the chair! I remember the way he held Payden after he got here, and how he compared their similarities. So many things...I knew he would be a good dad!

He loves to spend time with Gracie, and she loves to spend time with him! They are truly best friends, she thinks the world of her daddy..what little girl doesn't?! It is so true when you hear that little girls have their daddy's wrapped around their finger, and she is no exception! He would go above and beyond for her! To be quite honest I don't think he was all that excited to find out we were having a girl, I mean he was because he just wanted us to have a healthy baby and for her to get here safe, but he REALLY wanted a boy, even tho he wouldn't say it. I knew. But when she got here he was so excited and it just didn't seem to matter what she was!I remember having to ask him if I could hold her, they have been hooked ever since!

Last, but not least.....( try to ignore my dr. in the pic, he is great, and he looks way more excited than Shad, but Shad doesn't smile much for pictures, and I didn't have a picture of Acen and Shad together, I know it's sad..) Anyways, his long awaited boy!! Shad is so good with Acen, but it's a total different relationship, in a good way! He was so excited to find out we were getting another boy, he actually had tears in his eyes, which gave it away since I didn't want to know what we were having, but that was okay! I love to watch Shad with my kids, he is so fun, caring, and I know how grateful he is to have them. I love him so much and I couldn't ask for anyone better. He is the best dad, and he always takes the time to include them in his life, and I never have to hesitate to ask for him to help or if he has things to do he always askes Gracie if she wants to go!! I could go on and on, but I won't, I will just leave it with this.. I love you Shad and our kids love you very much, you are GRRRREAT!!xoxoxoxo
